I know a lot of people don't share my love of snails, but I've always been fascinated with them. I regularly save them from getting stepped on or dying from heat and dehydration. Not sure why I love them so much... I just think they're cool little creatures!

My plant identifier app tells me this is Japanese Meadowsweet, but if someone knows differently I’d love to hear from you! I’m always trying to identify flora and fauna I come across.

My mornings generally go like this now. Wrap up like the Michelin man, top up all the feeders, change the frozen water bowls, and then stand guard over the mealworms so the blackbirds can get their fill before the starlings descend and devour them all in 3 seconds! I’m a huge fan of dragonflies, I mean look at that face! During the droughts this summer I kept lots of shallow dishes of water all round the garden for the birds and insects, and found I had more dragonflies visit than ever before (a wildlife pond is in my future!).
