I bought some #cultist #miniatures (#ReaperMIniatures 03940) for my #Pathfinder1e game. They're three miniatures all wearing matching robes and carrying daggers. I might also paint a #skeleton mini in a matching robe.

What color should I paint their robes?

I'll probably use them as demon cultists of #Jezelda (female demon lord of werewolves) but they might worship other demons as the need for cultists arises.

I GMed my nephew (14 y.o.) solo in #Pathfinder1e again yesterday. (Session 2)

His level 1 gestalt fighter/cleric warned the village that a demon is pursuing him and attacks villages he has visited.

For some reason he turned his attention toward the vampire's castle after that, and encountered an acid blood skeleton (variant bloody skeleton) and pale shadow (variant #ToHC lesser shadow with daylight powerlessness) on the way to the castle. He destroyed them easily.

In #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav tonight, the level 3 party knew they were going to the ratfolk warren to fight invasive giant black widow #spiders. They used four scrolls of delay poison and took anti-venom along for everyone.

The giant black widows were squeezing (-4 attack, -4 AC) in the narrow warren tunnels and didn't even score a hit on the party as they were mopped up.

Oh well, the ratfolk community will still pay them on the agreed terms.

#Pathfinder #Ustalav tonight:
3 party members retrained hp (gained 1 hp) at a #Caliphas gym.

Inquisitor (relic hunter) took the divining tin-type to Oracle's Alley to learn how to control its magic. He learned the "random" images are always connected to the wielder somehow, but it can also be used as a divination focus, with a bonus (undisclosed).

Party approached by a ratfolk alchemist asking aid for her warren in dealing with a giant black widow.

As someone who has played #Pathfinder1e for about 10 years or so. Looking over at #Pathfinder2e blows my mind.

It's just the way the numbers are. I am sure the numbers are fine and balanced across the board for 2e, but the numbers are so much higher and progressively get crazily high in comparison, in my opinion.

If I run something 2e, I will learn to adapt, but it will definitely take some getting used to.

Lashunta Inspirational Pic of the Week
An early Ken Kelly work from 1979. I like this better than his later stuff.

~Qoelu~ - Megafauna, giant therapods, and saurians abound on Castrovel, under perpetual greenhouse-like solar proximity the Carboniferous period never ends! Thus Lashunta legends abound with their equivalent of dragon-slayers. Also, ~Qoelura-Vellaza~ - qoelu-hunter - is a real profession, though I'm sure they prefer a more controlled engagement than this awkward scene.

In more than one area of life right now I’m grinding away at XP and sooo close to levelling up. For my business, I've been wrangling spreadsheets, tax tables, CRMs and CSS already this week, and for my leisure time, this Friday we’re heading into our last dungeon before we level up in #Pathfinder1e, so once again it’s all about wrangling my sheets and maintaining good resource management and smart action economies. 🤓 🤷‍♀️

So, i am talking to a stranger about #TTRPGs as her and her partner play DnD5e

I am getting that urge again to work on my #Pathfinder stuff either #Pathfinder1e or #Pathfinder2e I can't quite decent.

Whilst I am more familiar with 1e, it might be good for me to transition to 2e. I have the rule books... I just need the time to put this stuff together.

Maybe try to find time to run a game every two weeks or so? Get the wife involved! We have two PCs set up, so the VTT would work really well!

My nephew (14 y.o.) wanted to play #Pathfinder1e--he's brought it up the last few times I saw him--so we played today.

I helped him make a level 1 gestalt fighter/cleric. His first encounter was a CR 1/2 fire skeleton.

He was not confident in his ability to smash it, so kept healing himself instead of attacking. It could barely hit him but its 1d6 fire aura reduced him to -3 hp.

Luckily an NPC hit it (once) with a stein, destroying it, and his PC was revived.

My #P1e #Ustalav game got canceled this past Saturday. (For a good reason.) But we were already canceled for the 15th because of Valentine's Day weekend, and people can't make the 8th, so it looks like our next possible date is the 22nd.

That's just a long way out.

Oh well, I guess it gives me more time to think about what intrigue might pop up next session.

Just had this notification on my phone.

And now I am very confused.

I don't even remember making this token...
Was it an animal companion for an NPC?

I mean, I could check through my OneDrive folders dedicated to my old Pathfinder campaign. But right now, I am just happy to have been visited by a clearly very good boy.

#Pathfinder #Ustalav:
Party spoke to Ritambros Deymarian, master-of-arms at Castle Borgoffi, about buying 352 lbs of blood crystal in their possession. Deymarian wanted it, but needed Colonel Joelm Colmar, the castle commander, to sign-off the expenditure. Colmar agreed because Deymarian said it would be used in firearms cartridges, and the prince has expressed interest in that research.

The party got 176000gp (35200gp each) for the sale.

I have #Pathfinder #Ustalav today.

The party just arrived in Caliphas, the capital of Ustalav. They're there to unload a large amount of blood crystal (worth its weight in platinum) they received from a sentient flesh golem.

I don't have any significant plots set-up for Caliphas, but I have a few encounter ideas just in case I need to add a bit of trouble.

I've been trying to learn the city so their visit doesn't feel too shallow.
