I enjoyed talking with Adin Lang, and Heather Crawford at a workshop on the benefits for all from permanently containing #petcats. We covered the #evidence supporting this goal, the #policy context and the how and why. There was so much ambition amongst the audience to get this happening now!
We really need to rethink what it means to be a #cat owner in Australia and see cat #containment as a basic responsibility. It's better for everyone this way - #people, #pets and #wildlife

A survey from #TheBiodiversityCouncil has shown only 8% of Australians are opposed to banning #PetCats from roaming. Yet more #evidence that the wider community recognises the broad benefits to all - #cats, #wildlife & people - from this move. #TimeToAct
