8 of the top 15 hotspots for uninsured driving are in the West Midlands, according to the Motor Insurance Bureau. This comes just weeks after we learnt that WM is also a hotspot for cycling incidents, and as new mayor Richard Parker downgrades the role of Active Travel and Road Safety Commissioners.

It's a real shame that West Midlands mayor #RichardParker doesn't seem to value or want to take road safety and #ActiveTravel seriously - if he did, he'd pay a proper wage rather than a "small honorarium". After all, you get what you pay for.
