Played three s this weekend including one at the Colorado Singh Sabha which is always a honor. More and more grooms prefer riding the route in souped up cars instead of on a horse, which is fine except it means I’m seeing less of my friend Jeannyne the horse handler. Either way, three beautiful days in awesome settings with dancing and celebrating to my beats. What a privilege.

Had the honor of playing a baraat with these killer Marathi dholis. We connected through shared rhythms - I’m from the US playing a Punjabi dhol and we immediately found common ground. So grateful to so many who’ve opened this door into India for me.

I had to send pictures of what I wanted, it was pretty hard to find, there were very few options, and some of the basic accessories weren’t available.

Thanks to a patient cousin we found it and I’m ready for the !
