@65dBnoise I've noticed with all the so-called 'face reconstruction' stories over the years, they never do a blind demonstration of applying the technique to a known face of a person.

The assumption is that if there's a face produced, it must be accurate simply because it's a face. #bunk

So I saw some sort of titled designed for cat bowls. I was curious and decided to read the print:

"15 Degree Tilted Elevated Cat Bowls - The elevated cat food bowl design provides an ideal and comfortable feeding position to aid your cat's digestion. ***This thoughtful design promotes a natural feeding posture***, aiding in digestion and preventing digestive issues. "

(Emphasis added in the form of asterisks.)

"Natural????" When a cat catches a mouse in nature, does the mouse corpse hover above the ground to provide a natural posture? Or does the cat pick up the corpse and place it on an elevated rock? I've never ever seen this.

Over the years, my cats have not all been indoor cats. Sometimes they brought gifts.

I call bunk on the "natural" claims.

The answer to this is _always_ no: Rooftop turbines aim to capture power in windy cities | CBC News — cbc.ca/news/science/what-on-ea

There is no useful wind energy you can extract from rooftop wind turbines. Please stop falling for this.Every time this story comes up, it makes me sad and tired. I wouldn't be surprised if some of these designs exceed the Betz limit, the theoretical efficiency limit for wind turbines

CBCEye-catching turbines harness wind power downtown | CBC NewsIn this week's issue of our environment newsletter, we look at a variety of wind turbines designed to be used in cities and examine how an Alberta ski hill has been repurposed as a climate change research laboratory.
