So, my contacts were great all day, though a little uncomfortable at times.

Then, while I was signing up for open mic I felt something on my eyelash. Yep, it was my #ContactLens. Luckily, I had brought my storage container filled with solution with me so I plopped it in its side and then worked the other one out.

Also, my glasses are in my car so I won’t be blind driving home. #Planning is so essential for so many things

While putting my first #ContactLens in my eye this morning, my brain registered the label on the hydrogen peroxide solution that reads, “do not put directly into eyes.”

I dropped the second contact, decided to rinse it. Blindly grabbed the wrong solution bottle, rinsed my lens, and… oh, the burn.

The great #ContactLens shortage of 2023 is over (for me)! Two boxes of lenses I’ve had on order from two different suppliers since February are arriving tomorrow, I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about some post!

Does anyone else have subconscious #contactlens trauma? I've been wearing them for 30 years and still have the occasional dream about putting frisbee-sized lenses onto my eyeballs, as it felt the first week I had them as a kid.
