Our foster boy Harry (now known as George is off on his trial today. Go well, George!
We said goodbye to Sweet Baby Ray today, as he heads off on an adoption trial - hopefully for his furever home.
We're absolutely shattered, but happy to have done the right thing - by sending Ray on to his forever home we get to help another discarded hound find love.
Picture below is Ray with his new older sister Shady.
NB he/they Update on the 11 year #Weimaraner #FosterDog we’ll be getting next week. Her name is Luna and her family doesn’t have the time or resources to care for her, for reasons I can’t get into. I’ve seen a picture and it’s clear she’s undernourished so I’m especially anxious to get her and start doing the work to get her healthy and thriving. The hand off was supposed to be today but got pushed back a week.

So our first foster greyhound, Ray, is arriving in a few hours. I have dubbed today as #RayDay.
Our new #FosterDog is named Belle and she is a naturally blurry girl.
◯ Today we said goodbye to Kodi (formerly Atticus) as he went off to his forever home. We will miss him very much, but he’s a lot more assured and a lot less underweight than when he came to us, so I think we did some good.

Our Goldendoodle #FosterDog, Jessie, went to her forever home today. She spent her first two years in a commercial breeding facility but now she's living her best life with her new family, including her new Pyredoodle sister. Here they are together.

This is Dozer. He's our foster dog. He and his daughter both, and they both have front limb deformities. They get along fine without wheels, but we've been working on them so they can do more normal dog stuff like walkies. 
My dream is for them to have a home with more grass than we have in the desert!
