Now this development looks very interesting.
It is an anti-AI scraper tool for protecting your music.
The researchers at the University of Tennessee are apparently planning to make 'HarmonyCloak' available as a free tool this year.
I will be watching this one with interest:

When bluetoothd starts to barf with cryptic messages in /var/log/syslog (which I constantly monitor on this machine) after I diagnosed horrificly low quality audio (in the flat side of the audio spectrum (which is balanced audio)) Is when I would rather have the message to be in the gracefull Norsk language with a **specific cause** for the corruption than the generic message the daemon spouted.
The fix was simple, I routed the audio as usual through an unbalanced tip/sleave cable eliminiting the BT tranceiver interface, which does introduce noise
Day three now and I have all the notation and a drum track so I can start recording some guitars
This track was never released anywhere (I can't remember the rejection excuses from this far ago)
[Links to my available stuff in the bio]4/4

So, I had to adjust the DAW tempo to make the track fit the click. All of that took one day.
Day two, I reproduced the drum track using the Yamaha DTX-Multi12, then smoothed out all the tempo changes (apart from one obvious one, they're pretty imperceptible)3/4

I couldn't find the original manuscript or notes (or be bothered to look hard) - to this day that's how things start. So, I pulled the wav file into the DAW. There is one obvious temp change when the drums come in after a minute or so. I don't know how I did this originally but it might have been a Tascam 234 using a Revox to bounce stuff. I think the drums were kept external until mastering. In any case the tempo was all over the place
So... this old tune of mine came up on random play and I thought (unusually) 'this isn't bad' but the drums were an Alesis HR16 and there were other issues that I wouldn't let past QC today. So, I thought I'd re-record it1/n

Why is spending money so much fun?
Been wanting one of these dumb things for years and years, but I finally picked one up on eBay for cheap.
Let the cheesy atmospheric doom synth metal begin!
