I feel like alot of the despair I feel as an aspiring artist is from the disharmony between the statement of intent, "I want to make art", when really the true feeling is "I want to have had made art".
It's not that I might "trust the process", it's "the art is the process". Or "the map is not the territory" vis à vis "the artifact is not the art".
Nach 5 Monaten Ukulele-Unterricht bin ich heute endlich bei "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" gelandet. Und jetzt kann ich das nicht gescheit singen, weil der Tonumfang irgendwie zu groß für meine nicht besonders singbegabte Stimme ist.

Today I recorded a little video of me trying to #arrange one of the songs for my upcoming 3rd #album. The track is still very much a work in progress, but since it has been quite some time since I last recorded a video of myself #makingmusic with my #linuxaudio setup, I thought today might be the day.

One downside of OP-1 is that I don't have a setup to video the process of making music. I can overlay live playing with the final mixdown, though! ...and so here you go!
