Some of Britain’s biggest supermarkets and food producers, including Marks and Spencer and J Sainsbury, have called on the EU to agree a deal with the UK government to help smooth exports of plant and animal products across the English Channel.

I am pissed that my local Sainsbury's café is closing forever after today.

Maybe some shitty international coffee chain will move into the space. Maybe not.

But it's unlikely to be a company that provides real food at reasonable prices.

The cafés that have stayed open after lockdown aren't loss makers, they're just not profitable enough for shareholders.

There's a somber atmosphere here today. Staff from the store commiserating with the café staff, alongside customers.

I had the most miserable, rude, delivery driver known to man. I opened the door, said hello to be met by silence. He eventually said hi back. I asked for my groceries to be put on my kitchen table. he barely said a thing to me, dumped my food and left. He was on the phone to someone as he was doing it and i could hear his conversation. I'll be putting through a complaint about that. #Sainsburys
