Guerre Froide / Untitled (12”; 1981); Ein verborgenes Juwel des französischen Cold Wave. “Cyber Surf’s Up” is a surf rock meets synth rock song inspired by nostalgia for exploring the late 90s internet with dial up modem and AOL samples (also the ICQ “uh oh!”).

“Pale Blue Dot” is a space inspired downtempo track named after the famous photograph taken by Voyager 1.

The Echoing Green is one of those bands that don't get nearly the amount of attention that they deserve. Highly recommended for fans of synth-pop, electronic rock, and experimental music in general.
