After you close the last tab you had open on your iPhone or iPad, normally, a new tab with the Start Page or your preferred website opens automatically. If you’d rather not open a new tab, you can disable this feature.

#Firefox 137 broke tabs-on-bottom CSS again. Come on, Mozilla, you cannot possibly be still unaware that so many of your users want their #tabs on the #bottom where it makes rational sense. Would it LITERALLY FUCKING KILL YOU to just make it a UI config toggle?


Update: Cleaned up an older CSS patch and downloaded the latest revision, which seems to work.

Usually, when you want to close a tab, you first need to hover over the tab on the Tab Bar to make the close button visible. But in Vivaldi, there’s a way you can always display the X on the tab for quick closing.

To always display the close button on all tabs:

2. Enable “Permanently” under “Display Close Button”.

Oh ! Dans Firefox, ils ont ajouté l’option d’afficher les onglets en vertical.

Mais pourquoi faire ?

Alors déjà, aujourd’hui, nos écrans sont beaucoup + larges que hauts, et la définition étant bien meilleure, on a souvent de l’espace perdu sur les côtés… Du coup, c’est pas idiot quand on y pense.

Aussi, quand on commence à avoir pas mal d’onglets en haut, ils se réduisent et on n’a plus les titres. Avoir une liste d’onglets les uns sous les autres, de manière bien lisible, c’est pratique. Ça semble moins bordélique.

On peut réduire la barre pour n’avoir que les favicons, si on préfère, ça fait une interface minimaliste, puis on peut passer de l’un à l’autre à la volée d’un clic ou d’un raccourci, c’est agréable.

Les accès (à la souris) à l’historique et aux marques-pages sont plus fluides. On peut aussi mettre la barre à droite, et régler d’autres trucs… C’est assez sommaire mais c’est amené à évoluer !

Évidemment il faut prendre le temps de s’habituer car les gestes sont ancrés dans notre mémoire musculaire digitale. Au début c’est très perturbant. Je vous invite à tester un petit moment pour voir. Perso, j’aime bien !

タイル表示したタブを並べ替えて見やすくする方法

Vivaldi ではタブを行ったり来たりする必要はありません。タブのタイル表示 を利用すれば、分割画面ビューで複数のタブを同時に表示できます。タブの順番やウェブページのレイアウトによりますが、グリッドビューがうまく機能しないことがあるかもしれません。そんな場合には、タイルをリサイズして（詳しくは Tip #47 から)、タイル表示でタブを並べ替えてビューを調整する必要があります。

タイル表示したタブを並べ替えるには：

1. 移動させたいタブをクリックしてマウスボタンをホールドする
2. タブをタブバーの別の位置にドラッグする
3. 他に移動させたいタブがあれば、同じアクションを繰り返す
