Despite the Monday, I am traught, whelmed, and feeling the aster after a good holiday weekend. (big thanks to my daughter who really likes Dick [they stan Nightwing]).
#Python's a great choice to start learning "real" #programming. The tutorial in the documentation is good to go through, though it's often overlooked (why? dunno).
Biggest piece of advice would be: don't get overwhelmed. Python the language has grown a lot over the decades, and you don't need to learn all of its advanced features, much less use them in every program -- especially the ones you're writing while trying to learn it.
There will always be time later to learn where to use a generator expression instead of explicitly constructing a sequence, or the intimate details of complex type annotations, etc.
