@dandb You'll love it. I got a (used) Virtuoso and it made a huge difference. Nice too that Baratza sells all the replacement parts you'll ever need, right down to the little rubber feet.
@dandb Huzzah! I would never have believed that a good grind made such a difference in good coffee, but the burr grinder I got years ago (Capresso Infinity) made me a believer!
@cjhubbs I had that same grinder a while ago and it was amazing... until it broke and was more expensive to fix than to buy a new one.
One thing I was looking for in a new grinder was repairability and available parts which the Encode has.
So true that a good grinder makes all the difference!
@dandb I will keep reparability in mind if/when mine dies. I've had it a decade at least at this point, but it's gotten lighter use the past year since I've been back in the office. (The WFH years: used every single day.)
@cjhubbs I think not buying a new one until you need is the better part of repairability!
