Hedgehog 🦔 crossing

Not the best shot, but Arwen and I kept our distance when the hog was on the path. When it went to one side, I took Arwen to the other side and we slowly passed it.

I would have loved a better snap, but with Arwen and the poor lightning, I would have needed to come too close to the hog, or I should have needed my light. And I didn't want to do that...

But we let the hedgehog take time to cross safely and in peace, and now we continued our own journey again...

A dark silhouette of a hedgehog on a pathway. It's facing the left side of the snap, seen from it's side. It's observing the situation, and when it noticed we weren't a treat, it changed direction and headed to the other side.

This beautiful display of noctilucent clouds called for a good foreground. I was frantically riding my bike, searching for something I could use, when I rode past this windmill. Using it as a silhouette was a no-brainer. I'm really happy with this result.
