Our top priority needs to be due process for *everybody*. If there's any group of people who doesn't get due process, all they have to do is say you're in that group and disappear you to a foreign prison.

"As Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor recently warned, if the administration can take noncitizens off the streets, render them to prison in another country, and then claim it is helpless to correct the error because the person is out of reach of U.S. jurisdiction, it could do the same thing to citizens. Indeed, both President Trump and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt have proposed that very thing."

Without the basic rights to exist, think, and say things the government doesn't like, we can't do anything about all the other problems we're seeing.

it's super weird that sometimes while speaking Tamil, which I've only just started getting fluent in, i have a stutter, a lot like i did back when i was in the 4th grade with English. i have barely any recollection of that episode but it apparently took a lot of work to fix and this teacher had walked me though it for the most of that year until i fixed it.

it does occasionally crop up, with English too, and slowing down and trying to enunciate words i have problems with seems to help but it doesn't always fit into quick and important conversations in Tamil i have with the medical professionals here at the hospital and elsewhere. of course, it happens a lot more when i have to speak in Tamil.

i now just want to know what this is about because i have no issues with articulation like before and it's just pronounciation that i have issues with.

Bei der Recherche für einen Artikel über #Text2Speech und #Speech2Text unter #Linux bin ich auf die kleine App Speech Note gestoßen, nicht zu verwechseln mit dem proprietären SpeechNotes. Insofern ist der Name nicht wirklich clever gewählt. Clever ist dagegen das Konzept der noch jungen Anwendung.
