Changing subject to something a little more my wheelhouse: I've been texturing a prop for a Blender test-project while learning ArmorPaint and I have done a really nice radiator grille effect. I'm very pleased on how it looks as it gives off the look I wanted (if you don't look too close)! There is some teething pain transitioning from SP2019 to AP; but I think the results so far are worth it! :apartyblobcat:

Armorpaint 0.10 Alpha running in GNOME. The main 3D viewport shows a fictional Air Conditioner Condensor unit with missing or incomplete textures. The main base is white, with the metal grille and bars being a light grey colour. The radiator is black and has many fins textured in it. Normally a fan is covering this up and isn't exposed in the real world, but I took some creative freedom on that.

Jo-stands on guard, elbows up.

Work in progress on another piece in this series. The hair in this series is the wool woven in the tree of life rugs, our ancestors, diasporas, all the threads of life that bring us here. The challenges we survived, and the memory of those who didn’t. The tragedy of sadness of new migrations, diasporas, expulsions from climate disaster, war, hatred. So many feels in these paintings. Still a bit to do.

@rpimag I went back to my picoDexed (Synth_Dexed on a Pico) and updated it for the latest Pico SDK and added a simple display and encoder.

I've not quite got to the stage shown in the photo - the sound isn't working on this one yet - but it's getting close (it worked fine on my breadboard version)!

And yes, this is one of my MiniDexed front panels...

Oh well!Damn! I was super ambitious and didn't forsee modularity would lead to such big combinatorics, but I'm going through with it and finishing it!

This is rougly how many combinations EACH pose will have for 1 gun and 1 chestplate version.

So, 3 chestplates for this gun makes it, another 2 rounds of this + for each gun compatible pose.
