this upgrades to #rustlang 2024, and fixes a couple obvious bugs that have been annoying me for the longest time - the weird color bar you can see in the 0.2.0 screenshot upthread, and the incorrect note length grid in the sequencer.

it's buggy as hell, and about half the features i've showcased previously are disabled for now. but, more importantly, i've managed to build it as a single binary that you should be able to run on any #linux with #glibc and #jack... let me know what happens!

so, yeah, the other thing i want it to do is pop up a waveform display (#braille #unicode, or maybe #sixel? #whynotboth) to let you cut album rips into tracks. gonna need it for the original content too, since some of that is only archived on #youtube by this point...
i already implemented that feature in #tek, now i just gotta copy it over... ugh, i need motivation, and concentration, and medication!
the table thing ties back into into #vestal, the binary patcher for old soundwares (https://codeberg.org/unspeaker/vestal - that one isn't passing its ci yet, baaad code, baaaaaad developer!)
that could sure use some interactivity, at least in development. would keep me focused.
it also ties back into #tek, whose entire thing is reimplementing #ableton's "#excel for music" schtick in a terminal, so, again, tables!

(some ci run, not even outputting coverage like it ought to, but i don't feel like debugging that right now - PRs welcome!)
